In 1970 Giorgio Bindi, known as Doriano, bought with his wife, Mariella Mancini, the estate Podere Sant’Angelo.
Composed of an old farm house and 12 hectares with around 500 olive trees, it represented the first step towards a dream which Doriano had had since the days in which he worked as gamekeeper.
With the passing of the years the number of olive trees grew until they doubled and finally, in 1983, with the opening of the press, the dream came true. Today Doriano is no longer with us, but there is Mariella with her sons Nilo and Paolo, also devoted to their father’s passion for olive growing.
